Who We Are

The Hancock Team is a team of REALTORS® currently comprised of Sandy Hancock and her son Trey Hancock. While Trey is new to real estate, both team members bring unique skill sets and experiences to the process of buying/selling/renting/investing.

--Sandy has been in the industry since 2005. During her time in real estate, she has gained countless skills and experiences that enable her to adeptly guide investors, sellers, buyers, and renters through their respective processes. Her career highlights include teacher and counselor at Churchill High School, and administrative roles (principal and vice principal) at Smithson Valley High School, Spring Branch Middle School, and Comal Leadership Institute/Comal Discipline Center. Her time in the school system lead to an unparalleled knowledge-base of San Antonio and surrounding areas.

--Trey joined his mother in 2017 after getting his M.S. in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. What he lacks in industry-specific experience, he makes up for with advanced technological skills in social media, marketing, web and graphics design, and mobile technology. In addition to those skills, he also brings experience in quantitative data analyses and behavioral analysis to the table.

While experience, knowledge, and passion for the industry drives The Hancock Team, it is our broker, JB Goodwin, who supercharges the team in the following outlets:

--Marketing resources: From providing signs and local advertisement, to publishing our listings on over 103 websites, JB Goodwin remains at the forefront of real estate marketing. JB is always looking for new platforms to advertise on, and maintains a significant social media presence both for the company and individual listings. List your properties with a JB Goodwin agent (preferably The Hancock Team!) and you will receive maximum exposure both on- and offline.

--Education and training: Unlike many brokers, JB Goodwin actively provides constant opportunities for education, frequently at little to no cost to the agents. What this means for the client is they can be assured that working with JB Goodwin allows him or her the help of knowledgeable and up-to-date agents and office staff. This helps in many facets: from marketing to knowing about different areas around Bexar county. This level of training and scrutiny on our management's part also helps to minimize and transaction snafus that may otherwise arise.

--Community support: While JB Goodwin operates primarily in the Austin and San Antonio markets, they have a truly global reach through their membership in the by-invitation-only group of elite brokers known as "Leading Real Estate Companies of the World".
